Wold Newton Parish Council

Appeal from Friends of The All Saints' Church...
I am currently selling tickets for the Friends of All Saints Wold Newton 100 Club in support of the  repair and refurbishment of the parish church and upgrading of the facilities. Tickets cost £12 for the year and this gives you the opportunity to win 36 prizes as there are 3 winners each month. Half the money received is paid out in prize money, the other half goes towards the cost of refurbishing and upgrading the facilities in the church. So far nearly 70 households  in the village have bought tickets and friends and families of residents have also bought tickets. This includes some parish councillors but not all. The first draw is at the end of the month so if you would like to support this cause and have not yet bought a ticket please ring me (470916) or email me Janice.robins@hotmail.co.uk
All Saints’ Church is the focal point in our village for meeting together for Christian worship and fellowship, and celebrating important events in the Christian calendar and family life, a mission which it has fulfilled for over 900 years. We aim to continue to serve our community by bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to all, and giving help and support wherever and in whatever form needed.
All Saints' Church is one of the 600 churches in the 470 parishes in the Diocese of York. It is one of the churches making up the benefice of Rudston with Boynton, Carnaby and Kilham, and Burton Fleming with Fordon, Grindale and Wold Newton within the Bridlington Deanery, which is part of the Archdeaconry of the East Riding of Yorkshire.
